Our Comprehensive Wellness Programs can be custom-tailored to meet your needs. You can choose to offer any of these programs or we can custom tailor a comprehensive screening program using several of these services. These programs are all designed to provide you the tools to perform early health interventions.

Blood cholesterol testing

Webb’s Family Pharmacy can now conduct lipid testing with just a single drop of blood from a fingerstick. Tests available now include:

o Total Cholesterol

o HDL

o Triglycerides

o Calculated LDL, VLDL

o Glucose

The testing is as accurate as tests done in your physician’s office and the results are ready in only five minutes. We offer different levels of testing, from cholesterol to the entire lipid profile. We can also calculate your heart disease risk.

Heart disease affects over 13 million Americans; only 50% have been identified! Cholesterol screening cardiac risk assessment is the first step in preventing heart disease.

We also offer a cholesterol management education program that empowers our patients to control their cholesterol.

Diabetes Screening

All it takes is a drop of blood from a finger stick and in about 5 minutes we can determine a patients risk of developing diabetes.

Smoking Cessation

Smoking cessation training greatly increases a smoker’s chance of kicking the habit. This educational program can be taught one-on-one or to groups. The pharmacist will explain all the smoking cessation products available and help the smoker choose a product that will work best for them. Our pharmacist is certified by the University of Philadelphia to provide smoking cessation counseling. Methods and materials used are derived from their very successful program.
